Snacks & Conversation – Thursdays, 12:00 - 1:00pm

Join us for weekly Snacks & Conversation! Let's chat about a variety of fun themes with OISS staff!

When: Thursdays, from June 6th until July 25th (Exceptions: There will be no Snacks & Conversation on July 4th and July 11th)
Where: Lovett Hall Conference Room (Entrance B, 1st floor)

Lunch in the Tunnels – Friday, June 7, 10:30am - 1:30pm

Explore Houston's hidden gem of eateries and shops during the lunch hour in the heart of the Central Business District! We will meet at Sallyport at 10:15 and depart by METROrail at 10:30am.

Downtown Aquarium – Tuesday, June 18, 9:15am

OISS would be delighted to have you join us at the Houston Aquarium on Tuesday, June 18th; invitation is open to family and friends as well! With your ticket purchase you'll have access to all exhibits and attractions.

Museum of Fine Arts Houston – Thursday, July 18, 2:30 - 5:00pm

Join us for a visit to the Museum of Fine Arts Houston!

Explore the highlights of the Modern & Contemporary Collection at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) on an exclusive private tour. Discover masterpieces of American and European Modernism, showcasing groundbreaking works by influential artists. Immerse yourself in the exquisite world of Decorative Arts, Crafts, and Design, featuring innovative and beautiful objects that blend functionality with artistic expression. This private visit offers a captivating journey through pivotal movements and creative visions that shaped the art of the 20th and 21st centuries.

You can meet Maria Corcuera from OISS at 2:30pm at the Lovett Hall Sallyport and walk to the museum, or you can meet the group at the lobby of the Kinder building at 3:00pm. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking. The tour will last from 3:00 - 5:00pm, and after the tour you can walk back to the university or stay at the museum. The museum closes at 9:00pm on Thursdays.
